MR. RAYMOND OLATUNJI OGUNJOBI – DIRECTOR, LOCAL GOVERNMENT MONITORING DEPT.
Mr Raymond Ogunjobi was born on the 3rd of August 1965 in Lagos. He started his primary school at Methodist Primary School, Oshodi, where he obtained his Primary Six Certificate in 1976. In September 1976, he proceeded to Methodist High School, Arigbajo, Ifo, for his Secondary School Education and sat for WASCE in 1982. For his A’ Level, he proceeded to Anwar ul Islam College, Agege, where he obtained his A’ Level Certificate in 1985.
In the year 1989, he bagged his Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
Mr. Ogunjobi started his working career with Lagos State Government in 1995 and was deployed to the Health Service Commission as Hospital Secretary and rose through to the position of the Director, Local Government Monitoring Department in the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, having served in various Ministries such as:
- Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja (LASUTH) 2001-2008
- Ministry of Science and Technology 2008-2013
- Public Procurement Agency 2013-2016
- Lagos State Council of Arts and Culture 2016-2017.
Where he became Director, Administration and Human Resources.
Presently, he is the Director, Local Government Monitoring Department in the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs.
Mr Olatunji Ogunjobi is happily married with children.
